Ryan has worked in the structured solutions industry since 2004. One of the original team members of the very successful UK Investor Solutions team at Barclays Capital, he left London in 2012 to return to his native South Africa to replicate the UK success on home soil with Absa Bank. After 8 fruitful years with them and having made them one of the leading issuers of retail structured solutions he left to join RMB in March 2021. The opportunity to join IDAD presented itself in late 2021 – and the opportunity of putting huge growing client demand in touch with best of breed issuance partners and to work with a seasoned team of structured solutions pros, was too good to refuse. Ryan has two pre-teens to keep him on his toes, still dabbles in some veterans football and tries to get off the grid and into the Southern African bush in his trusted LandCruiser Roxanne …. she has a red light on the back … as often as possible.
