Charity Partnerships
Ongoing Partnerships
Supporting charities and community initiatives is an important part of our culture. We are proud to work with a range of organisations that provide vital support to individuals, families and communities both locally and nationally.
The King’s Arms Youth Project
We are proud to sponsor The King’s Arms Youth Project in Petersfield, a local charity dedicated to supporting young people across the surrounding communities. The organisation provides a safe and welcoming environment where young people can meet, take part in activities and receive support when they need it most.
For more than 25 years, The King’s Arms has worked with young people in Petersfield, Alton and nearby villages through youth clubs, mentoring programmes and wellbeing initiatives. Their work includes after-school sessions, one-to-one mentoring, support groups for young carers, and programmes designed to help young people develop confidence, social skills and resilience. By supporting this charity, we are helping to ensure that local young people have access to a safe space, positive role models and opportunities to thrive. The Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal
Each year we collect toy donations from colleagues and our wider community to support the The Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal. This national initiative ensures that children who may otherwise go without receive a gift at Christmas.
Through the appeal, new and unwrapped toys and gifts are collected and distributed to families experiencing financial hardship, homelessness or difficult circumstances. Every year tens of thousands of presents are donated across the UK and Ireland, helping to bring joy and hope to children during the festive season. Our annual collection allows our colleagues to contribute directly to supporting families in need within our communities.

Wear It Pink
We also support the annual Wear It Pink campaign organised by Breast Cancer Now. This fundraising event encourages people across the UK to wear pink and raise money to support research and care for those affected by breast cancer.
By taking part, our teams help raise awareness and funds that contribute to life-saving research, as well as support services for individuals and families facing a breast cancer diagnosis.

Colleague Charity Partnerships
Giving back is something we encourage across our organisation. Each year we invite colleagues to nominate charities and community organisations that are meaningful to them. Our management team then reviews these suggestions and selects charities to support throughout the year.
This year, we are proud to be supporting Naomi House & Jacksplace, a specialist hospice that provides expert care and support to children and young adults with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
Naomi House cares for children up to the age of 16, while Jacksplace supports young adults aged 16 to 35. The hospice offers respite care, medical support, family services and end-of-life care, helping families make the most of their time together while receiving the specialist care they need. Their dedicated teams provide nursing care, therapy, activities and emotional support for both patients and their families across several counties in southern England. Supporting Our Colleagues’ Challenges
We also take pride in supporting the personal challenges and achievements of our colleagues when they raise funds for charitable causes.
One of our colleagues, Terry Dixon, will be taking part in a once-in-a-lifetime expedition across the Finnmarksvidda Plateau in Norway, the largest mountain plateau in the country. The expedition aims to complete a full winter crossing of this challenging environment and will mark the first attempt by an adaptive team that includes two double amputees.
The challenge is being undertaken in partnership with the Armed Forces Para Snowsport Team, an organisation that has played a vital role in the recovery and rehabilitation of injured service personnel. This expedition represents an opportunity for participants to give back by raising funds that will help support others on their own recovery journeys.
Crossing the plateau in winter will test endurance, resilience and teamwork in one of the most demanding environments in Europe. The expedition is not just about individual achievement, but about collaboration, determination and the shared commitment to support others through charitable fundraising.
