Duncan Crocker

Non Executive Director

Duncan spent his executive career with L&G, having various MD roles running their product and advice Distribution businesses, including IFA’s and Banks & Building Societies. He carries much experience in intermediary distribution, stakeholder management, commercial decision making and people leadership.

Duncan is now an independent non executive Director (iNED) of IDAD, bringing professional oversight and challenge/ideas to the Board and leadership team under Clive. He is regularly involved in business governance. strategy and business planning as IDAD prepare for a period of accelerated growth.

Duncan has also held numerous other FS sector NED roles over the last decade and is currently the senior independent director at Openwork, one of the UK’s leading financial advice Networks. He chaired Openwork through 2025 when they agreed a significant investment by Bain Capital, the private equity business
